A Great Day

Today was such a great day! Finally, after two years of patiently waiting, Danielle came to visit me and we had a great time catching up on her mission and my life back at home. I missed her like crazy and it's wonderful to have a close cousin back home! There was so much to talk about! It was the perfect day for horseback riding and we were able to enjoy the weather and the horses behaved really well for us. It was a perfect day and reminded me of how much there is to be thankful for right now.

This is the view from our backyard. There is nothing greater then the country and the mountains in Utah and I was so excited to take Danielle on a horseback ride. It's my 4th ride in the past week! I'm so excited summer is here.

The saddles we're working with are my Grandpa Roberts'. The etching is beautiful and it makes saddling up the horses a little bit more fun, creating the western feel, which I love.

We saddled up BB and Cotton pretty quick and went for an hour ride. I had to post some pictures of our views. It was beautiful today!

After our horseback ride and a few hours working out at the pool, Danielle and I met up with some of my close friends, Adam & Whitney Green, and had a bite to eat at Diego's Taco Shop. I thought Beto's was good, this place was delicious.

After enjoying Kanani's softball game, which I was supposed to play in (whoops), I was walking back to my car and realized how thankful I am for Pepe... He's sure given me a lot of trouble but I'm thankful that I have a car that works!! Isn't life great??

  1. Welcome home to your cousin!! And what a great way to get back into "real" life by enjoying a horse ride through God's great creations. As usual, you have captured some beautiful pictures.
