Our Weekend Away in Durban, SA

Talk about city life to the extreme! We were anxious to get away from the farm for a bit, but after a few minutes, literally, in Durban Central we found ourselves saying, "I'm ready to go back to the farm and De-stress!" Although it was hectic, we were lost more then once, pedestrians attempted to stop traffic so they could cross the street, and Ty almost wore the horn out on the car, we really did have a great time in Durban! Our highlight was the Super Rugby Game - Sharks vs. Lions - and eating at Cafe Bloom on Nottingham Road. I like to call this area "Little Ireland" because it looks like Ireland - country side, green hills, rustic barns. It's stunning & beautiful! We were lucky enough to run into the missionaries and directed to the Durban Stake Center where we were quite shocked to walk into a ward instead of a branch. On our way to Cafe Bloom we stopped at Michael House where William attended school - it looked like a school you'd see on the movies with athletic fields far better then any city in Utah. We loved Durban, loved the drive, and loved our weekend away!
