South African Braai

June has been absolutely hectic, but I don't ever recall getting so much done in such a short amount of time! Tyler and I planned a South African Braai for our reception & everything ran very smoothly, despite the unexpected disasters. Our tree fell right into the secret garden & our well broke, leaving us with no water one day before the reception! I couldn't believe it, but thanks to the Westhoff clan and our awesome neighbors everything was put back into place before matters turned worse. Tyler and I butchered & ground the beef for our special Boerwors and couldn't have enjoyed it more! We took our third honeymoon up to Daniel's Summit in Heber and drove through the mountains on our way home! It was beautiful! Thank you everybody for a really fun weekend! I had so much fun catching up with old friends! We finished the night with a bang - Fire Knife dancers, an Ice Cream Stand, and splendid Fireworks! We were glad we were able to share a little bit of ourselves with you.

A huge wind storm came ripping through Spanish Fork two days before the reception, blowing this tree over right into the secret garden, smashing all our flowers, breaking trees, and crushing the fence! Perfect Timing!!
