Escalante

Another adventure with Dad to spend the weekend with a great family in Escalante! The Westhoff's. I'd never been and the drive is beautiful as well as the town. The original plan was to ride up 5o mile mountain where they have their grazing permits for their cattle, but because of the rain we had to make plan B. So we went out and looked for Elk on Boulder Mountain. And I got to wear chaps for the first time and felt so legit! I've got to get me a pair! Dad and I loved it and have been having a blast on all our outdoor horse and hunting adventures together. We rode for about 6 hours and just made it back to the trailer when the rain started coming down real hard. I loved it!!
